Welcome to this great addition to our website, "3/1 Yearbook-Vietnam 1970". It contains pictures of Marines that had been in country as far back as Feb of 1969 and even farther. And for those who served in Vietnam back in 67 and 68 you might just find someone you know since many Marines spent two and three terms over there. The contents of this book were furnished to us by Charles (Chuck) Lockwood, 3/1 India Co 69-70. Each individual page was scanned by Chuck to me, and then resized and downloaded to the website. Many long hours were spent in the creation of these pages, but well worth it!!!! When you can, e-mail Chuck at his address listed below and express to him your appreciation!! It is certainly our wishes that you enjoy the book and feel free to ask any questions about any part of it.
We are adding our e-mail addresses below, and if you see a picture that you would like to have blown up, just ask and it will be done as soon as possible. Also, if you see any discrepencies in your picture, or a group picture that you are in, such as it being to dark, bring it to our attention, and we will make an attempt to fix the problem. Remember, this book is more than 30 years old and is not in the best of condition, so if you see a picture that is to dark it just might have been caused by a scanning error, or by aging of the book. If it was from a scanning error, then we can attempt to recopy the picture and re-enter it into the webpage.
At the bottom of this page you will find a link that says, "Click Here To Start turning Pages". These links can be found on every page. But, if you find one that fails to take you on to the next page, please go to my e-mail address below and let me know about it. There is also a possibility that it could be a server error, and if that be the case, there is nothing that we can do about it, except to wait for the server to correct itself.
I have put links at the bottom of this page that will take you to each individual company, instead of having to scroll thru the entire book, if you desire to do so. Thank you for taking time to read this entry!!
Enjoy and Semper Fi !!!!
