| Comments: The homepage says 3/1 1966 to 1971 3/1 Expeditionary Battallion hit White Beach, Da Nang (full amphibious landing)on April 5, 1965 our tour ended Nov 21, 1965 and we held positions at Le Mei and The French Fort (1 mile SW of Le Mei) north of Da Nang with a company on the north parimeter of Da Nang airbase.
I do have some slides of the north Da Nang area and of our 81 mortar group that I will post when I get them converted. There are some very beloved brothers that I have been trying to locate for many years that perhaps this site will be helpful in doing so.
