Just curious as to who is still around as I have not seen anyone who I was incountry with in Dec.69/Feb.71
I went by the handle of TangoMikeMike or Echo 3 Mike 0683
I was the skinny kid that ended up humping the prc25/prc40 (if I can remember it right)just a couple of weeks after becoming company radio man and the word came down we were going mobile. I can still feel that damn thing on my back

Trinemeyer, Charles Deceased
Started W/ 1st Sq., 1st Plt. 12/29/66 - one of 3600 to make it to the 1st from a boat load of FNG's from the States. When I left 11/16/67 (land mine in the 'Old French Vill') I was 1st Team Leader, 1st Sq., 1st Plt.. Made a few good friends - lost a few good friends, the worst and the best in my life, the effects lead me to put most of my '32 Retired' years to help others. The past 14 years have been to those America left behind in Vietnam, Korea, and from WW II and the to the buddies still searching for those on The Wall. I am eternally proud of each one of you for the time we had together and the time spent in Vietnam. Each has had an impact in some way upon my life's walk. Being a Marine has been a part of my life since birth at Cherry Pt. MAS, NC on Veterans Day, 1947. As we say, "ONCE A MARINE, ALWAYS A MARINE...SEMPER FI!!" See ya in San, Diego. Till then, MARINES UP!!
